He squints back at her, trying to imitate the suspicion in her expression. Though the playful quirk of his lips gives him away. He rocks back on his heels in delight before looking back at his friend. 

He tilts his head at her, blue eyes twinkling. 

“What are we lookin’ for Sakura-chan?” He reaches up and touches his cheek, reaches up to brush his nose, combs back his flyaway hair. 

“Got somethin’ on my face?” As he feels around some more, he catches the way her eyes drift below his chin. 

“Or my neck...” he adds while one hand lowers to a direct spot on his neck. The hickey almost burns under gaze. He gives her a sheepish smile, thinks for a moment to zip up his jacket, only to shrug. 

“We gunna get lunch or what? I’m starving!” He says while closing the distance between them to bump shoulders. 

“Come on before Ichiraku starts gettin’ full! I don’t wanna wait!”
