„Basic skills“
I still remember that time when JD threw a tantrum in the middle of Petsmart when he was almost 4 months old and this elderly woman insisted that he was scared or hurt and kept telling me that no, my puppy is not screaming because he doesn't like heel training, he's most definitely screaming because I've forced him to come into the store.
So, my puppy that excitedly ran into the store and continuously bounded around happily greeting people before I started the training session was scared and forced into the store apparently.
What makes it better is the fact that she saw him when we entered and was one of the people he eagerly said hello to 😂
mercy is glad Masters making her wear heels around the house because she does truely need more practice in them to be comfortable. When she wears them she is so much taller then she's used to, and less steady. Practicing at home will hopefully make her more comfortable wearing them out and about, because currently she only wears them out if there won't be much walking.
When mercy wears heels she feels different, but it's hard to describe. She feels the need to make the rest of her outfit more appealing. For instance mercy was wearing a flannel shirt for the warmth of it, but during break she changed into a Tshirt. She wanted to do a sexy Tshirt but couldn't find one in time but a Tshirt was an improvement so she put it on instead.
When mercy wears heels her mind dwells on outfits and needing to be better at being sexy the whole time. She can feel the heels at all times, it feels so different then being barefoot around the house, and it grounds her in those thoughts of wanting and needing to be a sexy toy to be used by Master
took this picture while edging...
Sooo apparently this dork can do a perfect heel OFF leash. I was getting frustrated trying to teach heel on leash in front of our house so I took him in the backyard, unsnapped the leash and said heel and walked away from him. He immediately went right to my right side and followed while I walked straight, and then when I pivoted. He even stopped when I stopped....whaaat! Walks are really stressful for him because he’s a country boy so he’s seeing all kind of scary things for the first time. I totally get the distraction element but wow, what a difference! He also heeled all over the whole house on leash. Now we just have to translate that skill into our walks...
