18. Does love really exist?

yes. there’s… really only twoish (two and a half) people she loves in the world and even then it’s very nuanced: she loves her mom but she also resents her greatly for being an alcoholic and all the consequences that come with it. she kind of loves nick’s dad to a degree, mostly because he’s always been there so it’s more of like, just loving family, but he’s horrible to nick and she makes a point to remind him that she actually hates him every time they meet before they start interacting, like she’s reminding everyone where her loyalty belongs.

nick she loves passionately and thoroughly and fervently and endlessly, and all the adjectives a very dramatic 16 y/o would use. she loves him as family and as a friend and as a lover and as a partner in crime, eros and agape and phileo and storge and everything in between, entirely all-encompassing. so yes, love exists, and it’s defined by how far you’d be willing to go for someone and how much of yourself you would sacrifice for them.

32. What’s the first thing you notice about someone?

honestly? if they’re smart. not in a Sapiosexual TM kind of way, just what kind of vibe they give off and consequently how she’s going to act around them. she’s ridiculously quick to pick out clues about how people perceive her and what’ impression is more convenient to give in the long run, if she’s got enough leeway to fuck with people or if she needs to put off her Dark and Threatening persona on or if she’s gotta suck up to someone. also if they think she’s hot.

44. Is lying about something serious as bad as cheating?

i mean, technically, none of those are really that bad, unless you’re cheating on her, in which case you might as well consider yourself a dead man. she’s lucky she’s dating nick, because if she were dating anyone she’s less interested in she’d definitely be the cheater. herself above all else and all that selfish shit.

she lies a lot, for all situations and occasions, most of which imply gaining some kind of advantage. nick’s usually good at knowing when she’s lying though, and she rarely feels the need to lie to him unless she knows he’d disapprove. eventually she lies to him about being a dark wizard though so there’s that

5. What’s your greatest flaw?

[spins a wheel] take your pick tbh. he's stubborn and argumentative even when there's literally no point to be. he has no respect for authority and can't deal with adults well. on occasion (often) he's manipulative because he has an obsessive need to try and control the environment around him. while generally a nice person he's not above doing things other people would write off as evil. doesn't give a shit about the majority of people and will put the ones he does above literally Everything Else. he's fake he's a fake ass child. overly ambitious to the point he disregards others and can be damaging to them and hims-

i actually don't think so. he could definitely develop a really strong emotional connection with someone, but angel is so physically affectionate and needs to be able to interact with people. it's one of the easiest ways for him to express himself and open up about things. he COULD be in a long distance mainly online relationship with someone he loved!! he just can't fall in love with them there.

What’s something you’re bad at, but love?he’s bad at guitar. he’s also not good at singing. in the traditional sense more or less he’s just fucking lucky that you don’t have to be exceptional at those things to play punk music. he works really hard on that shit just to be mediocre that’s like his thing if he loves it he’s gonna try damn hard to be good at it and eventually he will be good at it although he’ll never be exceptional.

well if his past record goes to show anything it’s people that argue with him a lot. he likes people that push back against him and challenge his opinions. without that he?? ends up thinking of the other person as weak or lesser and not worth his time he’s kinda an asshole, guys.

10. How do you spend your free time?

she’s social she likes to spend her time around other people doing whatever. that could be hanging out, getting high, working out, walking through the city, whatever. the main exception is writing basically. she likes doing that alone for the most part, sometimes, although rarely, she can dig hanging out with her dad angelo in complete silence working on their various writings and studies and stuff.

20. Are we raised into what we love, or do we come to love it based on how we were raised?

she thinks it’s a mix of both, but she’s adamant on that there’s some things you’re just born loving. that could be a specific gender, or a food, or an activity, or whatever, but she thinks there’s just shit you got in you that you can’t help but love.
