Friday ginreview - Hoos London Gin's from Karlsruhe Germany. A maximum of 0.5 litre 120 bottles are produced per distilled batch. The Hoos gin ingredients such as cardamom seeds, chamomille, juniper, coriander, lemon and orange zest, marjoram, lemon balm, pine sprouts and sweet fennel are macerated for 24 hours in ethyl alcohol. All ingredients are organically grown. First i tasted regular version of Hoos London gin, 44.4%: Nose: Fresh and strong juniper aroma. Palate: Crispy cardamom and hint of lemon and coriander. Aromatic and floral taste. Hoos London Gin Reserve, 44.4%: Nose: Sandalwood. Palate: You can find little hints of woodbarrel, taste is round and juniper notes. This gin will pairs nicely with chocolate dessert or good cigar 😉. Hoos London Gin Pink Grapefruit, 30.5%: Nose: Delicious Grapefruit and liquer. Palate: Grapefruit and lemon. I liked lot of this gins taste, pink grapefruit is so tasty.
