not to speculate wildly about a ratings board title leak, but a game where samus has to fight her metroid transformation urges to consume everything would be sick as fuck
Listen I'm all for people filling in the blanks and giving callie (and marie) angst about the hypnoshades and the effect something like that would have on your mental state howEVER it is also extremely funny if callie just immediately got over it like a bad cold "woof that was a rough couple weeks oh well back to singing" because if anybody could it would be her
A list of 102 (I couldn't pare down to 100) games that mean something to me. This is not a definitive ranking, nor would I consider all...
I made a list of games that are important to me. Some are well known, some aren't. I tried to have as little series overlap as possible to get a wide variety. I would love it if people could try this quiz and see how many you've played! I want to know how different my experience is or isn't to others
I think the best way to do ridley in prime 4 would be to have a boss battle where he's some kind of psychic attack on Samus, not the real thing. You could do something cool with that
mina first impressions
-this game is hard as hell, wow. they throw you right into it with hardly a tutorial and say good luck kid. -the burrow is much easier to execute and move with than i expected. but you really need to think ahead with it because it's not instant and it's vital for combat. reminds me a lot of dark souls -there's a lot of specific quirks that anyone who played a lot of game boy color games as a youth will appreciate. i especially like the bit with the mirror and how it handles tracking
Been reading fantastic four again, well into the 90s at this point, and I got to Sue's outfit redesign
Which is of course self-evidently terrible and makes every dramatic scene she's in a joke but combine it with That Specific 90s Artstyle and you really get something
one thing in superhero fiction that irks me, especially older ones, is keeping your secret identity from your really close friends and family. i get having a secret identity, it's a foundational part of the genre and something you'd need to have any peace, but it gets so repetitive to have a character be constantly making excuses to their loved ones about this or that because of their double life. you can save the reveal for a dramatic moment but it has to come out eventually. it lets the supporting cast be more involved in the hero's adventures and gives them someone they can actually talk to about it, which is way more interesting than writing the same stories about them missing a date to fight a supervillain
