Is it too cliche to have Anders be an animal rights activist? He could stand outside all the time trying to get people to sign petitions. Also he could break into a lab to free the test animals and get arrested by cop Aveline??

I was actually thinking Isabela to be a marine biologist (bc making her any kind of criminal i thought would be tad racist) and she was going to get Hawke to help her free an animal from their local aquarium a la free willy

If posting won't sap away your inspiration to finish it, then start posting on a schedule. You've got 8 chapters? 1-2 a week, depending on how fast you're writing the rest.

But for some projects, posting part of it can fulfill your brain's need to get the idea out there and it never gets finished. so *shrug*

I agree with tk, its about your process. If having a schedule and therefore a deadline will motivate you, go ahead chapter by chapter, but if not than putting it all up in one go may be best.

Right now I feel like knowing I have a deadline (by posting it) will help push me to finish faster than if I don’t. I’ll keep finding excuses otherwise (even if they’re valid), so maybe that would keep me going. I think I’m just more thrown off cause I expected it to be a LOT shorter than it is so I was writing it as a one chapter thing and I’m worried it won’t have as much of an emotional punch on it’s own. Which...might not actually make sense. I don’t know anymore lol.
