𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐂𝐄𝐍𝐓 𝐊𝐍𝐄𝐖 𝐀 𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐎𝐑 𝐓𝐖𝐎 𝐀𝐁𝐎𝐔𝐓 𝐏𝐎𝐋𝐀𝐑 𝐎𝐏𝐏𝐎𝐒𝐈𝐓𝐄 𝐒𝐈𝐁𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐒, but the drawback with that was once she came to kings landing with her father as a child she lost contact with most of her brothers. the only one who kept up with her letters, who returned them, & who came to visit was gwayne--gwayne whom alicent found comfort in, whom alicent often confided things she would no one else after losing the relationship with rhaenyra. gwayne was, in a way, an extension of a safe place which had been taken from her or denied as queen. ( some may think or assume that she harbors these feelings for her sworn shield, but they would be wrong. yes, the queen confides certain things with criston cole but nothing compared to gwayne or, at one time, rhaenyra. it was entirely different. ) brown eyes settle on the other across from her ... ears listening yet mind wonders somewhere else. alicent tried to be dutiful during this time & while she sits as regent but the seemingly endless droll audience after another was waring.
@heirgardyn SAID, " LORAS WAS THE BREEZE, I WAS THE STORM CLOUD. "
❛ siblings can be ... tricky, lord willas. ❜ agrees alicent with a slight nod of her head, with a quirk upward of the corner of her mouth. palm remains flat against the ball usually left in its holder, fingers rolling it slightly from side to side. absently. ❛ i find myself fortunate to be close with one of my brothers, ser gwayne. the others ... well, they chose their own paths oft times away from home. ❜ it is all alicent can find herself to say on the matter. ❛ my children ... they get along fairly well with one another. though the boys seem to tolerate one another at times, squabbles & all. ❜ to this, the queen regent laughs shortly.
