i watched Inside Man (2006) so you don’t have to — but maybe you really, really should.

A heist movie where the villain literally tells you what he's going to do in the first five minutes... and still manages to outsmart everyone. Denzel washington in a trench coat. Clive owen in a wall. Jodie foster being terrifying with vibes alone. Spike lee turning a robbery into a whole lesson about privilege, power, and perception — and oh yeah, opening with chaiyya chaiyya for absolutely no reason except that it slaps.

I literally had to pause the movie and check if my spotify was on..

this isn’t a guns-blazing, glass-shattering kind of film. it’s calculated. cold. calm. like if a sudoku puzzle had a political agenda and a jazz soundtrack. also? the plot twist doesn’t just twist. it shrugs while doing it.

watch if you like:

slow burns that leave you yelling at the screen

morally grey characters with great fits

being confused but in a classy way

thinking about what “justice” actually means

hi im back and not as sleep deprived (it’s mid term week 🧎🏽‍♀️)

but i have new prompt up for adoption!

haikyuu omegaverse and art theft/conman au!

now ik what you might be think “oh it’s just gonna be the same people being omega/alpha/beta” but don’t fret my dear summer child, over here we do things a bit differently but let’s talk about the prompt first before get into the knitty gritty 😗

so here's what i was thinking:

-there are two groups, one with omegas/betas and one with alphas/betas, and both groups deal with jewelry/art/money (ill leave that up to you) heists.

-both groups have the same main focus, so they have a friendly rivalry when they first start (around high school/early college age).

-but after feelings are hurt and heists go wrong, both groups split up. years have passed, and the ob (omega/beta) group went off the grid, but the ab (alpha/beta) group remained in the heist scene. but they haven't had much luck financially, but they are fortunate enough to score a heist that will set them up for the rest of their lives; however, there is one problem.

-you can choose the problem, but i was personally thinking that the plan that created required more people then they had. so as a way to fill in the gap, they decide to go and find (with much difficulty) the ob group and beg for help, knowing that with their assistance, they will be able to do the job no problem.

-but the ob group have one main condition: this would be the only and final heist (you can choose why they ask for this)

-with the now-combined squad, they attempted to execute the heist; but there was a little roadblock in the way .…what was it? you ask, well it was only the murder of the person they were supposed to steal from …😬

-it was supposed to be simple, right? well, not anymore with the police on their asses they wouldn’t need anymore trouble right? .…well tell that to their old buddies who are looking for a…bit of revenge.

-will they be able to find love and hope in between, the blazing guns, car chases, and death? …that’s up to you to choose their fate 🤩

now that i scared you, we finally get to the fun part the a/b/o dynamics *laughing maniacally 😈*

extra notes:

-i was thinking of a oc! kid (5-6) you can choose the gender, name and parents but i was personally thinking daisuga as the parents to a little boy (idk what to name him) but suga doesn’t know that’s his kid (he’s a bit dumb alright 🙂‍↕️) and its like super angsty between the two of them.
