Though most people step into the afterlife, Helen stumbled in. She was never known for her gracefulness; she had severed her own brother's big toe with her heel at his wedding while she was attempting to help him stomp out the fire she had caused by knocking over the unity candle. As her clumsy soul fell through the intricately woven fabric of space and time she was reminded of her untimely death. Only a block away from her apartment she had snagged her grocery bag on a garbage can located on the street corner. While chasing a rather elusive tangerine, her shoe caught the smallest of edges sending her careening into the road where an unfortunate bus load of people were also traveling. After an unknowable amount of time phasing in and out of existence, her disembodied spirit haphazardly reemerged and momentarily possessed the body of John Wilkes Booth. Finding herself in a theater with a gun poised at the back of President Lincoln's head, she let out a scream, ultimately preventing the historic assassination. A new series of events was established that didn't prevent her birth but did change the circumstances leading up to her death. This paradox created a tear in the space-time continuum, destroying all of reality. Classic Helen.
