We as a fandom should do more with the fact that Helena Wayne borrowed Helena Bertinelli's identity - thus tying herself to the notorious Bertinelli crime family and painting a target on her back - while in Italy. I need to reread Crossbow at the Crossroads but I'm currently imaging the potential for a Helenas team up romance that starts because of it like:
Helena W is using Helena B's name and gets in trouble because of it. Meanwhile Helena B is in Italy visiting an old ally. She gets targeted by ppl looking for "Helena Bertinelli"/Helena W bc of what Helena W's been up to under her name; meanwhile Helena W is getting targeted by ppl with old grudges against Helena B and the Bertinellis.
They cross paths, there's a crossbow standoff that ends when they get ambushed and have to team up. One of them gets injured and the other takes her back to where she's staying to help patch her up. They compare notes and decide that at this point everyone trying to kill them is after both of them so they might as well team up.
Just. The lesbian mafia romance plotline we deserve, complete with an epilogue where Helena B introduces Helena W to Oracle and Oracle facepalms all "oh no, there's two of you now." Hel B looks over at Hel W and smiles "there sure are" and Hel W blushes.

i have this hc that helena wayne specifically only ever types with shitty spelling and abbreviation when she's texting helena bertinelli. bad grammar doesn’t bother helena bertinelli in the slightest even if she's an english teacher, she's used to it and she doesn’t think it's a big deal online. however, it pisses her off because she Knows. she knows that helena wayne purposefully texts her shit like "yo unsleep me at sevn", the same helena wayne who's fluent in over six languages, has two degrees, and was a lawyer previously. helena bertinelli knows helena wayne only texts "wyd l8r girl" and other nonsense because helena wayne thinks she's being funny BUT IT'S NEVER BEEN FUNNY TO HELENA BERTINELLI!!!
