Turning the focus of attention on Circe allowed Helena to neatly sidestep the question of where she’d been.

   Only because she hasn't seen her friend for months now didn't mean she had forgotten the woman's knack for changing the subject. "Flattery doesn't get you very far in some cases." She retorts with a simple smirk, "but thank you though for the compliment."

Now, listen carefully, my little ovums. Because this is the most important thing I will ever say, an if you never read anything else I say, please read this:

If enough people know who you are, someone will hate you.

Sad, but true. And it could be any reason. It could be how you RP, who you RP with, what you ship, what fandoms you're into, how often you tag/reblog, or it could be that you're employed, or on benefits, or still in school. You have both parents, you have one parent, you have six aunts and uncles, two brothers, one sister and a dog. Or you could be a cat person. You could be a Christian. Atheist, buddhist, muslim, hindu, seikh, black, white, Asian, American, European, or a Heinz 57 of nationalities. It could be any number or combination of reasons. But I'll tell you what it isn't.

It's not your fault.

I don't care if you're any or all of the above, whether you're a roleplayer who plays for the ships, for the plots, for the crazy OOC shenanigans. If you have learning difficulties, or English is your second language. If you don't RP at all and you just stumbled across this by accident.

Listen up, because this is the important part.

If someone hates you for who you are, it is their problem. Not yours.

You may be worth the time of day it takes them to send you anon hate, but they are not worth the pain of letting it affect you.
