I work with Celtic and Norse deities and ss the year is drawing to a close I thought I do s poem in honour of them
Also my year has been pretty rough and I'm thankful I made it through with their help
Hel, old woman of wisdom,
You come to me in dark times, bringing me visions.
Although I don’t see you,
You tell me to push through.
Even when I feel let down,
You’re still around.
Skadi, huntress in ice and snow,
You teach me that only with patience we grow—
To trust my instincts and persevere,
To breathe through pain and face my fear,
To dare to reach for what I desire.
For you, I raise my voice and play the lyre.
Helene of the Ways,
Oh, on such hopeless days
You show me the way—
Bringer of ideas and inspiration.
You show me there is meaning in my isolation.
Now I have found my inner connection;
I thank you for this new direction.
Oh Morrigan, old crow,
There is so much that you know.
You come to me in dreams and visions,
Helping me connect with my inner wisdom.
I know I still have much to learn,
So I listen and let my inner fire burn.
All of you have walked beside me,
Even when I could not see—
Blinded by outer struggles and pain,
You still answer my call again and again.
When I doubt everything and feel left alone,
I find you in the winds, the trees, the stones,
And hear you calling me back home.
