A long tailed semi-slug (Ibycus rachelae) in Malaysia

This species is also known as the ninja slug due to its ability to fire calcium carbonate 'love darts' at potential mates to inject them with hormones. Researchers who discovered this species intended to name it Ibycus felis due to its habit of curling in on itself while sleeping - like a cat - but it was renamed after one of the researchers girlfriends once the 'love dart' behaviour was recognized.

Semi-slugs have small partial shells that are either partially or completely covered by part of the mantle.

Large Ganoderma fungus, with too little snail friends. I believe those strange patterns on the fungus are bite marks from snails.
