I got around to making Hell’s top ally from Heaven and Seraphim from Joy, Emily! Technically labeled ML-3(Mechanical Learner, 3rd version), but Emily’s easier to pronounce.
Gave her a snow/cloud/sky theme❄️🌨 Snow can symbolize purity & cleansing of sins, and has been used as a metaphor for that within the Bible. Along with clouds & the sky, often being associated with divinity, freedom and transcendence☁️🏙️🌌
Gave her more vibrant sky blues but kept it leaning towards cool blues❄️🧊. She wouldn’t be my only winter theme colored character 🦚🩵💙
Made Emily an android created by Sera & Heaven, designed to tend to and help the heaven souls become adjusted to Heaven and be comfortable. After what happened with....Him, they were wary of taking chances with angels/seraphim becoming too invested or not properly connecting to the mortals, so they designed someone who can not only have all the info on how to properly help humans stored into them, but less at risk of being swayed by personal emotions and desires... Unfortunately for them, this makes Emily not as able to not let fear or prejudice cloud her judgement to Charlie’s redemption idea or the secrets Sera tries to hide. She’s basically Juror #4 from 12 Angry Men. And with the heaven souls, Em’s basically a Heavenly Baymax. And tries to apply that with the sinners as well.
Also wanted to draw more parallels between her & Charlie, who’s a vintage puppet doll in my version.
I found inspo from multiple robotic characters, FNAF animatronics & transformers were some of my top inspo.
Open to many pronouns and can even take up a more masculine form if desired. But leans closest with her feminine “Emily” design. Usually goes by She/They pronouns.
Styled their dress to give off traditional princess vibes like a mix of Princess Peach & Rosalina, especially to add another parallel to Charlie’s more masculine/androgynous style.
Wanted to keep Em Black-coded, with the hairstyle, dark skin/metal color and facial features👩🏾🦱
Added hands unto her palms. Can def make more eyes appear in full power mode 👁️
Made her sclera darker with pupils. Also made their eyelashes rounder.
I imagine she can change her form to look even more human-like, mainly to ease others who might find her to be “uncanny”, her extra eyes switching off their pupils to look like gemstones 💎
For her hair, its made up of wire cables arranged to look like hair, as well as low-key look like a cloud ☁️
Made her skin darker with a purplish tint.
For her wings, I wanted them to allude to feather & snowflakes. ❄️ 🪶 fun fact about Seraphim, one of their wing sets are to cover their feet, so I decided her dress could allude to her third set(she often looks like she’s floating on clouds) ☁️. Also wanted her look to give off snow fairy vibes 🧚🏾
Made her extra eyes more apparent and unfiromed in design.
For her bird motif, I’m making her a mountain bluebird. For the snow theme and to be Charlie’s “little bluebird” she called upon in “Always Chasing Rainbows”.🐦❄️
Wanted her attire to look like a Christmas Angel/Classic Disney Princess vibe. Def got inspired a bit from Princess Guinevere/Gwen from Knights of Guinevere👸 Especially with the hair.
Can lay down serious damage when necessary. Only goes into attack mode unless absolutely necessary….lets just hope she’s defending you, not who she’s against.
Was def inspired by White Pearl for her pose. Don’t worry she’s in control….for now.
If Em was to play an instrument, I can see them rock the keyboard 🎹
