edbella valentines day hcs

edward has hated valentines day his entire life. he was surrounded by couples and he never had anyone to share it with

before he met bella he would always go hunting for the week so his family could enjoy it, and he could mope alone

after he gets together with bella, valentines becomes his favorite holiday because he loves bella and he loves having an excuse to show her

on their first valentines together after they get married edward decides to decorate the entire cottage in candles and flowers and little love notes 

bella walks in on him while hes decorating with a handful of her own decorations bc she had the exact same plan

they end up decorating together and dancing around the living room

this devolves until they’re just laying on the floor staring into one another’s eyes and professing their love to each other

bella lets edward into her thoughts and they just sit there vibing while bella thinks about how much she loves him and edward has never been happier in his life

when they decide to exchange gifts, neither of them actually has anything to give the other person because edward wrote bella a song and bella wrote him a poem

with a little tweaking the poem ends up becoming the lyrics to the melody edward wrote and they perform it together, just for themselves

that night edward takes bella hunting and they continue to make new happy memories and in edwards mind they make up for all the years he spent alone hundreds of times over
