The second Nitori had stepped out of his house, the chilled air nipped at his exposed skin, and he had to keep covering his nose with his gloves to keep it from cracking and breaking off like an icicle. Now he stood outside the building, slipping his phone from his pocket.

Nitori put his phone along with his frozen hands into his pockets. and hesitated. It’s too soon.. but Nitori had felt this way about Rin for so, so long, and with all the joy and love flowing in the air, it gave Nitori just a bit of courage.

Though this was going to most likely be one of the biggest regrets of his life, he started towards the small park, going over in his head how he would go about this. More than once he’d stopped and seriously pondered wether or not he should turn around and tell Rin to forget it, and once he’d even gotten his phone out just to do that. He didn’t even realize when he had reached the park.

It had gotten cold enough to the point where Nitori could see his breath when he exhaled, and usually the thought made Nitori smile, but he was too terrified to express any kind of joy. Too afraid of what was to come..
