okay my sweet gentle friendz, i have some news. as some of you know already, my preferred name has changed several times over the past three or four years. i am so sorry. as my understanding of myself and my gender and sexual identity has changed over the years, i’ve been more drawn to some names and less drawn to ones i’d been using before that.

and congratulations, my buddy pals, you are here for another metamorphosis. my friend (sort of) recently changed my discord nickname to darwin, and it clicked for me. like, a lot. and i realized that it clicked for me even more than dave did/does. so - you guessed it - i’m going by darwin now. thanks for reading my lengthy explanation and understanding or at least tolerating my name change.

i’ve wanted to be blonde since kindergarten and it’s finally happening my friend is doing it for me next week i’m so fucking excited

i just broke the news to my parents that i (a seventeen year-old) don’t feel ready for college. my mother thinks that i just want to wait to go to school so i can spend more time with my friends, just because she started college when she had just turned eighteen. my father basically thinks i’m an idiot and i’m throwing my life away.

then after i got to hear all the reasons why i was wrong they started interrogating me about what my plan was if i wasn’t going to start school yet. like, i don’t even know. i don’t care right now. why can’t you just leave me be and let me chill and do nothing for a few months. it’s not like i can do take a break from all this shit when i’m twenty or thirty or forty. i just want to sleep and not go anywhere all week except the kitchen and not have a bunch of responsibilities i have to try to keep up with.

why can’t they just let me be a normal teenager for once in my fucking life
