I've been reading Labrys' book "Hellenic Polytheism Household Worship" to learn more about burial rites, and one of the things that they suggest is giving honey cakes to mourners when they visit the body lying in repose. So for my death philosophy class I'm planning on making a cake as part of my final presentation. If you have other recipes that you think are better, let me know please! Also where do you even get good ricotta cheese, like, Whole Foods??
