You're awake before your eyes are open, and too sleepily hazy you let them stay shut for a while. As your senses start to get in gear you sense the heat next you you. You hear the soft breathing. You smell his smell. 

He never said he was coming home for Christmas. You must still be dreaming.

You take the risk and open your eyes slowly, smoothly, and feel your heart stop as you see him next to you. He's already awake it seems, and you simply gape for a while, before reaching out to touch him in awe. This can't be happening, your tiny lips mouthing 'Sve'. When the words manage to come out, they are but a whisper.

i actually made progress on my ficmas gifts and christmas cards tonight so i'm pretty satisfied with myself.
