What I like about them
Elias is really fun and rather silly, he works in grand gestures and is always up to something dramatic or other so he is just fun to write most of the time whether he is being good-natured or horrible.
What I dislike about them
He is such a dick. I mean wow. It will only get worse before it gets better.
Favourite moment
Showdown with Eden. Dancing with Amiria and being a total child with Valerie. Accidentally calling Audrey his friend but secretly meaning it. Tormenting Hiero.
Least favourite moment
That time he totally let Amiria fall in the mud when she was injured. Or sold stuff to Ophelia when she was having the worst day ever and had just wanted to thank him for saving her life. Eventually when Audrey finds out the bad stuff he is up to. Or any time he’s a dick to Hiero or Niall…I mean I guess I have a love/hate relationship with all of that? Good character moments but my gosh it hurts.
A situation with this character that I want to see explored more
Teamwork with Amiria (shortest sentence but I have so many feels omg) and potentially Hiero as well? Pulling cons with Liam and Niall and maybe Wolfe if he’s into that sort of thing. Getting up to crazy frenemy antics with Hiero. Arch-nemesis Eden :P Elias + a nice family.
An interesting AU for this character
Musical AU (is that a thing? It’s now a thing) Elias totally has the charisma to carry out all action and emotion through song. Either that or 1920s-40s. (looking at you Nightmare Club) Elias would be unbearably dapper.
A crossover
M*A*S*H - sassy enough to fit in, incompetent and unscrupulous enough to cause drama. Probably talked himself in as a new surgeon with fake paperwork despite having no training in order to fulfill some personal goal or more likely get out of some trouble back in home. The higher ups love him but everyone who has to work with him eventually figures out he is a total fake. In the end he gets his act together and is an asset to the team, plus can finagle extra supplies and fun stuff for everyone. Bonus points for Hieronymus and Amiria also existing in same AU.

As someone who historically never ships anything I have pretty much though about Elias/everyone at this point, it would be fun. I am sorry. (what have I become?!) Best other ships in some alternate timeline would probably be like with Audrey, Hiero, and Eden (just imagine if they worked together!) but I feel strongly about friendships and think more about those so onto that…

Reggie/Elias (these two could flippin’ take over the world with their combined charisma), Hiero/Elias(you two have so much in common now get along! When Elias is at his best he is really supportive and brings out the best in people which would be especially fun with Hiero), Audrey/Elias (ffrrrrienndddddss? Friends? Am I doing this right? Friends.)

With recognition to other ships answer above, in practice: Philomena/Elias *shudders* Prooobably Eden/Elias, let’s be real here, besides, she’s got Al, unless you’re sharing? jk, seriously. :P Will/Elias, I image they’d get along really well but when Elias finds out about stuff he will have a very principled bone to pick with him.
An assortment of headcanons
Elias is super rich. But new-money, entrepreneur-turned-owner-of-a-large-corporation rich. He is so used to penny-pinching that he cannot stop acting like he needs to nickel and dime everything.
Elias has absolutely killed people with the things he has sold, either due to bad ingredients, or people believing they would work in the place of regurlar medicine. Like everything else in his life, he chooses not to think about that.
Elias sews his own clothes (and his wight’s clothes, and your wight’s clothes too if you are nice to him.)
I am sure everyone does this, and this is not exclusive to Elias, but I try to pay extra attention to how Elias refers to/thinks of other characters. So without further ado:
A helpful guide to what Elias thinks of your character:
Uses your character’s name in a way they would not use it themselves (last name when they would use their first, first when they would use their last, nickname or not nickname, etc) = Elias is being a patronizing dick. Probably actively dislikes them
Refers to your character as “young man” or “honey”, “sweetie”, etc = Elias totally cares (no he is just pretending and being patronizing, probably wants this person to go away)
Uses your character’s first name a lot in speech but not thought = I am trying to sell you something. I will forget you the second you are out of my line of sight
"the man", "the woman" = purposely trying to not connect
ginterghast, or better yet, phylacter = oh crap they are like me maybe I should be nice
Refers to your character the way they refer to themselves = Crap, they are human to. Probably wants to help them or be nice. Empathizes.
Uses a nickname for your character that your character chose/likes = bestest friends. So far, nobody.
