Have you ever been so desperate for a character that you even read the oneshots/fanfictions with first person POV since there are only a very few works about the said character? Because that's what I'm experiencing again now that I found Tate Frost (even Ao3 is lacking a bit when it comes to him😭).
I dunno guys, it might be a me problem, but those type of works make me cringe. Maybe because it's not written by me for me— to make me feel like the reader really is me— but rather by someone else for a targetted audience, which I'm part of but that's not the issue. The issue is with the POV. Don't get me wrong, if that's the point of view you prefer to write in: go ahead, nobody's stopping you. It's just reading fanfictions with a first person POV makes me feel like I'm reading a watered-down yumeship with more "x reader" potential than those "character x OC; character x reader" tagged fanfictions.
What POV do you prefer?
1st person: I did SMTH
2nd person: You did SMTH
3rd person: He/She/They;Y/N (...)
2nd and 3rd (anything but 1st)
