So um. I'm switching my email over to a new one to get away from google right. I switch my email for tumblr, no big deal. I get the email with the button to verify my email, I click it, and get the verification screen.

So, I joined tumblr in late 2024, specifically for Jews. I didn’t have anyone to listen to me or to talk with about antisemitism or October 7 or Judaism in my real life. I’ve found some great people on here and it really helped me.

Since the end (at least for now) of the war in Gaza I’ve been able to think about and enjoy other things for the first time in years and I’ve been interacting with some of those interests on tumblr.

It’s weird, the second my curation of my dash stopped being exclusively Jewish I started to see antisemitic and “antizionist” posts all the time. The only thing that changed was that I began engaging with my secular apolitical interests. I have no idea how like posts about fountain pens, Murdoch Mysteries, and Cobra Starship leads to me seeing posts about how the “evil pedophile Israel needs to be destroyed”.
