I consider you the Gravity Falls expert here so I just gotta ask- do you have any idea who made this comic? I've seen it so many times but I have no idea who the original artist is!

Aww, thank you for the kind words. Honestly, I'm no expert, more so probably cursed with knowing too much about this show (just ask Alex Hirsch, lol JK).

Anyways, the artist for that is @sailorleo. It's from her iconic Reunion Falls AU. The image specifically comes from this post here.

She doesn't use that blog anymore. She's now on Twitter and here under the username @hellspawnmotel.

Still IMO one of the greatest artists in this fandom who made one of my personal favourite AUs.

hello everyone

this is leo hellspawnmotel! two days ago, i was hacked by a spambot but quickly recovered my account. yesterday, i woke up to find my account had been terminated, and despite numerous attempts to contact support, i have been unable to get it back. i'm going to do my best to re-archive everything i had posted previously, and continue where i left off. it's a bummer, but despite everything, i like tumblr. people here are nice and i want to stick around. so please bear with me as i attempt to recover!

no but hmm... for most of them not really. i think i'm too sentimental about them to permadeath any of my characters on purpose, and with my dnd characters the games i'm in are generally more storytelling and rp, so being mostly for the sake of playing with my friends death meaning being totally done with a character isn't too often something that comes up. and things worse than death can and often do happen. now tht i think about it, the presence of death & the fact they are alive when they shouldnt be or don't want to be or someone more important isn't is something that comes up with a lot of my characters...

when it comes to my non dnd characters though yeah, i have some that exist in their narrative to die . i haven't yet decided a character i've had for a long time should die without that being something intended from the beginning though.

i rly love your art, idk how exactly to describe it but theres a quality to it i wish i could capture. its this exact kind of cartoonishness that i love and i love how you use textures. you just have a really strong sense of style and use it well

ive just been rereading this ask before i answer it because it makes me so happy to hear, thank you so much for your incredibly kind words!! i feel like ive recently been able to capture the more ‘cartoony’ feel i think ive always wanted my art to have. your art has such great movement and expression as well, so thank you again and im very glad you enjoy my work!!
