Been while but I got back into HB redesigns! This time our favorite eat-the-rich cowboy assassin, Striker!🤠🐍
Went with a lot more warmer & more muted colors🧡 help tie him with Wrath more, blend in well being an outlaw & all. Also added a lot more gold around him🥇
Went with a lot of diamond shapes, with him being based on diamond back rattlesnake🐍 aswell as allude along with the gold colors, wanting to show up the Goetia a bit, with all their fanciness. I based his horns off Sallie Mae’s!
Made his tail a lot more thicker to show how strong it is. I can see it being able to regenerate like a real snake tail if it was cut off(I can see Millie at some point do that, I want them to be more rivals!). Also added some scars!
Gave him a weapon belt, good for holding stuff, kinda like Millie’s old look in the ghost ep(LOVE that look btw)
Changed his jacket to a vest.
Added more details on his pants 👖
Made his scarf a deeper more wine red. Fun fact it’s made of silk, torn from….an outfit from someone he knew .
Added gold tips for her boots, extra protection and for kicking 🦵
Removed his tail spikes and added extra skin coloring with his jaw and palms(since he’s part snake) 🐍

In Stairways, Hell does not suffer from yearly exorcisms, because the ecosystem of Hell takes care of "overpopulation" of sinners naturally, with the rings of torment, damnation etc (explained here). But there is still an exorcist army in Heaven that trains around the clock, in case of a demonic uprising on Earth. Their jurisdiction is not to control demons in hell, but rather to ensure that Earth is safe from any takeovers or other demonic interference (demons killing humans - Heaven doesn't interfere with demonic influence so long as humans don't die at a demon's claws). This is where Stairways crosses over into Helluva Boss.
When I.M.P. got off the ground as a business, they started out with single-hit killings. Humans die every second on this bitch of on an Earth, so one or two more deaths doesn't raise any alarm bells in Heaven. See, Imps are the lowest infernal beings, so they don't even register on the Celestial radar when Heaven does sweeps for Demonic interference. There would have to be over a hundred imps in one location to even get a blip. But with Stolas at D.H.O.R.K. headquarters and Verosika and her gang at the bloodbath at the Beach, two locations of major bloodshed, Heaven took notice, and that's when they deployed Rita to go investigate.
Rita Lynn is one of the top girls in the Exorcist army. Whenever there's suspicion of Demonic interference on Earth, she's sent down to investigate, assess and terminate the threat, and report back to HHQ (Heavenly Head Quarters). She has a human disguise when she has to stay on the mortal plane for extended periods, and has a blessed satchel that always has what she needs - cash, supplies, weapons, you name it.
Being a Saint (a human who died and went to heaven) she does exceptionally well in the Human world on these missions (some angels in the Exorcist Army are souls who did not get a chance to live to adulthood on Earth, and opted to grow to spiritual adulthood in Heaven where they joined the Exorcist army's ranks to serve the cause ad infinitum).
In this AU, Rita Lynn faces the same fate as the C.H.E.R.U.B.s when she tried to intercept I.M.P. and stop them from making a hit, accidentally causing the human target's death in the fight (this will happen in the first quarter of the Stairways timeline) and was barred from returning to Heaven. Still equipped with all her gear and her blessed bag, Rita was able to stay undercover on Earth, but now she was determined to destroy I.M.P. and make her plea to heaven.
But, being that she is stuck on Earth, she doesn't have a way back to heaven, which is where the Hazbin Hotel ties in.
Rita Lynn tracks I.M.P., and rather than sabotaging their hits (because that went so well last time), she follows them through their portal to Hell, where she figures she can climb the Stairway to Heaven to plead her case. She continues to beef with I.M.P. in Hell, but this time she tries to use their own system against them and make them face punishment from their own laws (what I.M.P. is doing is very illegal). From there, she finds the Hazbin Hotel, her last resort. Rita reasons, if the Princess of Hell is trying to redeem sinners to get into Heaven, maybe she knows something that can get an angel back into Heaven, too.
Rita as written is basically a combination of The Terminator and a Lawful Good Jasper from Steven Universe, if Jasper was a homesick fallen angel who would do anything to get back home.
Any relationship Rita Lynn develops with Connie (my AU's Charlie) will be more akin to Steven and Peridot than anything romantic. (though that is not completely off the table). Rita assumes that all Demons are Evil, and is surprised by Connie's kind, good nature, and is suspicious of her intentions. Rita learns more about Hell, and has a journey of realizing that that not all people in Hell are Evil, or even bad. She learns to forgive humanity (life was cruel to her, but she did not let life make her cruel) and she bonds with the denizens of the Hotel.
Rita even gets to the point where she thinks, it might not be so bad if she doesn't make it back to Heaven, but Connie is determined to find a way for Rita to make it back to Heaven Regardless (Connie will have an arc where she gets overwhelmed by this, but learns to balance everything so that everyone in the hotel has equal priority for getting into Heaven). This, tied in with exploring Hell's justice system with I.M.P, who's fates are up in the air as they continue their illegal Human assassination business while Rita and the Hotel work towards redemption.
This is the closest I've gotten to a plot for my AU, the story for now will be told in vignettes to flesh out the world and the characters, but it will all tie together into one central story that I will post on my AO3.

Decided to make my own version of Verosika’s Ozzie’s outfit! For mine I was leaning more for a Vegas showgirl look(kinda like the waitresses at Ozzie’s, LOVE their designs & names). I imagine Ver would be calling herself the “flamingo”🦩. Her outfits real color is pink but due to the lighting looked blue & purple which I think was fitting considering she was signing for Ozzie(color of lust is blue) so I decided to make mine blue with pink feathers!!!! Also gave her tons more sparkles ✨ girl deserves to dazzle like a beautiful & romantic starry night sky 🌌
What do u think? How would u wanna dress up Verosika or anyone else for Ozzie’s? I’d love to know💖

I know there been some mixed thoughts of how they detained Loona with the muzzle & collar(on the one hand def shows how the system mistreats Hellhounds, some also pointing out how strong theyve show they can be so maybe they were making sure she didn’t try anything)
on the other hand would’ve been good if they had shown her fighting off the authorities better to have this make sense and atleast remove the muzzle for the trial(especially with Bee the Hellhound Queen there), and the merch of this…didn’t exactly help.
One other thing is that Millie didn’t get to speak a lot herself during this etheir and she wasn’t even muzzled.
If they still wanted to do something with this this, even something potentially funny aswell as make sense of Millie not getting to say as much. They still detain everyone, put the collar & muzzle on Loona.
At the trial, stuff is taken off Loona, except the cuffs(the collar could potentially still be kept on because they’re worried of her running off and subtly show the imbalance with Hellhounds and how they’re treated)

We’ve seen how violent Millie can get, remeber what she was like just seeing Chaz again? It’s a miracle she wasn’t even more riled up during the whole situation. If any of them needed extra detaining, it’s her.

For today I decided to show my redesign of the Ice wannabe King himself, Marquis Andrealphus!!!!🦚❄️🦚❄️🦚❄️🦚❄️ I had a lot of fun with this(ngl Lovesart23 design video def helped me brainstorm what to do with him!)
Went for a lot greener blues like teal for a kinda Aurora borealis vibe and contrast with Stolas deeper more royal night blues. Plus he’s a peacock. A lot of his colors r on the arctic blue palette!❄️
For my Andre I imagine he’s in charge of monitoring the celestial activity in the northern skies hence the whole arctic look while Stolas is focused on the bigger parts in the main galaxy 🌌 like the moon 🌙 & constellations 🌌 also does tutoring in geometry(like his real counterpart) among other Goetia stuff. He wants to freeze the education system so much.
Def dig the idea of him being a partial albino peacock. I headcanon his dads a full colored one while his mothers white. As for Stella, she’s only half siblings(her father was a swan aswell as a royal courtesan🦢💋)
Gave him a fancy mink fur coat cause ofcourse he’d be wearing that.
Exposed his wings more, separating them from his outfit more and giving him the eye markings, longer neck(he and Stella long neck twins), bigger beak and head feathers!🦚
