Girls in Trouble was violent as SHIT
Yes it was! It also established the trend of the Space Squad series bringing back old villains from Metal Hero shows in new ways, which is cool!
I refuse to believe that’s the original Hellvira because I like to think Helen finally got something of a happy ending. I see her as being like the new version of Mad Gallant from the first full Space Squad movie, a new version of the original villain created by Genmaku. I have no idea who might be beneath that suit or even if there is anyone, this Hellvira might just be entirely created to be an evil monster.
I wasn’t actually ready for how intense Girls in Trouble was going to be but I ended up really enjoying it.
The transformation of Helen and first appearance of Hellvira in episode 3 of 1986′s Jikuu Senshi Spielban.
Does Hellvira's presence in Girl's in Trouble imply a tragic end to Helen Lady?
Wow, I sure hope not! She had suffered enough already in Jikuu Senshi Spielban
However, I do believe there is hope for her, even with the appearance of Hellvira in Space Squad. BTW, the following contains SPOILERS for Space Squad: Uchuu Keiji Gavan vs. Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger, proceed at your own caution. You have been warned.
It’s clear from the fact that Space Criminal Organization Genmaku found a way to bring back Mad Gallant in some form, though not the man inside the armor and were trying to resurrect Satan Goth, that they had a vested interest in bringing defeated villains back to life to serve their own ends.
I find it entirely plausible that they created a new version of Hellvira, based on the original but lacking any of Helen’s virtue and connection to heroism as a pawn or weapon. Either it was a direct act of Genmaku, or someone else created a new Hellvira. I’d just hate to think that Helen Lady ended up forever trapped as a monster. That would just be too sad.
hellvira replied to your post “also on the subject of christmas films: it’s a wonderful life is...”
Your opinion is wrong and bad! The first time I ever saw it I was in a film seminar at uni and me and my friend had to run out at the end because we'd both cried so much
i just remember it being about an entire hour too long!! i liked the ending but it wasn’t worth everything before it... idk i think i’m probably a bit bitter and unfeeling but it didn’t get me the way it seems to most people
