The Explanation of "Nesting"

A Cybertronian courtship ritual performed by Seekers after a sparkling has been created and one of the pair/trine is carrying. Often, in modern times, this relates to essentially making a small house in one bedroom, including sections for: bedding, the nester's preferred past time (reading, writing, video games, etc.) and food rationing piles. During this time only the mate(s) will be allowed near the seeker who's carrying due to possible distrust. Only exceptions are those the Nester are closest too save for their mate(s). Oftentimes, in the modern setting, Nesting Seekers will take long leaves along with their partners to properly cultivate a "nest."

Sparklings of Nesting Cybertronians are known to spend a few years of their lives secluded within the nest, though this has begun to change due to modern times, it is still considered a tradition in some parts of Cybertron.

Data pads and Pad-Panning

As the war comes to a close, data pads become the most coveted "Want" Items. Journaling pads were often a luxury few could afford. Most were never formatted in the case of whomever wrote it may still be alive. They always held stories of their own within them.

Pad-Panning was the term used when someone collects Data pads. Whether for recreational use or for data logging mining/repair/what have you procedures, or just jotting ideas for the future (i.e. 'Write a book' or 'Names to avoid naming your children after the war ends') (For the latter the names to never name your child is 'Kaon' or 'Iacon'. Trust me, the reasons are lengthy) They've become an important piece of historical evidence. Recountenance of battles, losses, victories, all told through the optics of the soldiers who lived and lost their lives. Many will be kept as heirlooms towards sparklings or donated to the Iaacon hall when the war is over, but there are few many choose to keep hidden. Whether reports of Empurata, the countenance of someone close to them, or someone who should be forgotten, little is known on any of whom their pads have not been given or returned to the Great Hall.

ElectroMagnetic Overheation Disorder

Electro Magnetic Overheation Disorder (EMOHD) is a disease in which a Cybertronian has an overexcitable em field, which leads to adverse affects. It can and sometimes does skip generations, as some diseases usually do. It starts early for some, and late for many. Often it is caused by too much EM field activity, or spark energy. The sufferer of this disease will at times spasm, pass out, or loose control if their spark becomes too excited. It is one of the many reasons why a sufferer of this disease must personally keep their EM field and emotions in check, and one of the causes for a lack of intimate activities. because theres so much activity so much they could get too intense, and probably pass out. It is why..if they have made love, they must shut down for quite a while. The systems need time to reboot and the Electro-Magnetic field needs to readjust. It appears to be more common in mechs than femmes, but femmes who suffer it usually are never diagnosed, for fear of being seen as just 'overemotional' and 'weakly made'.

In the case of an "attack", a medic must be called in order to manually cool the systems down via the fan overdrive button most commonly found under the chassis, near the spark. If a medic is not present, then the sufferer can slip into comatose or in the worst cases, death by overheation.
