More seriously, Gilbert epitomizes the "old failure" of a knight, Finn's just a not that old failure of a knight who can become Gilbert like if you get Leif killed in Fe4 or if Leif accidently kills his sister.
I never checked Gilbert's age tbh, is he younger or older thanks Dorias?
