Not All Plants Are Created Equal

We’re all familiar with the benefits of plants in our practices, in whatever path of the Craft, we’re walking on, but sometimes there are plants that we may come across, and wonder what they are, and if we can use them. I was looking to identify a few local plants, that I was coming across and found a few websites, including one that has a visual list of poisonous and non-poisonous plants.

 I do NOT suggest and warn AGAINST using any poisonous plants for hexes, curses, etc...but I do suggest using this website as a reference for what is safe to use, what to stay away from....and what to keep away from children/animals!

All Witches Welcome

Hello, my name is Nova. I run this blog.

Yes, I like anime, but that’s not the point of this blog. This blog is where witches everywhere can come for inspiration, to look up spells, find potion recipes, or to learn about Wicca. I can’t guarantee timely posts, as I have a full-time job and am a full-time student but I can guarantee I’ll update at least once a month (given no circumstances arise). I’ll be dedicated to post information about Wicca (holidays, practices, ingredients & where to find them, etc.) and also encouraging young witches to do their best. This is friendly environment. I want no religious hate, no homophobia/biphobia/transphobia, no “SJWs” (you know... the ones that say they are but really aren’t for social justice), no xenophobia, no racism, no ableism, no politics!

This is a safe place for witches of all ages. And ABSOLUTELY no dabbling in dark magick. I will teach ABOUT it, but I will not teach specific spells. Remember:

Big news, I'm excited.

Today after cooking in class a person told me they had a headache and I am friends with the person so I offered to help. They asked how I could help and I told her if she was open minded I could do something to help her. She cautiously accepted and I told her about the basics of grounding and the flow of energy. I have never told the people around me about my craft and she was skeptical but allowed me to guide her through the exercise and she admitted her headache had gone away. I thought it was great and received a bit of gratitude. Without some of the things I have learned here and practiced in my everyday craft it would not have been possible. I would like to thank all of the people who have helped me get this far and taught me so much. Excited to continue my education.
