Headcanon A: realistic

She got abandoned by her parents/guardians when she was very young. Her grandmother (actually Cogita) found her wandering around and immediately took her in because she looked just like a certain certain blond maniac. (idc if it's realistic, but this is literally canon to me and I will hunt people who think Cogita and Volo banged for sport <3)

Oh and while she did inherit Volo's interest in mythology & ruins, she totally stole her outfit from Cogita's Hisui-era wardrobe.

Headcanon B: while it may not be realistic it is hilarious

She once almost got arrested for „ambushing“ trainers in Unova lol

Headcanon C: heart-crushing and awful, but fun to inflict on friends

She’s always had a strong bound with Giratina. When she was a child, she’d sometimes wake up at night, terrified after its shadowy figure attempted to communicate with her in her dreams. When she told her parents/guardians about those dreams, they became horrified and, because Giratina is considered to be akin to the devil, decided she must be cursed. So they abandoned her. As she got older and learned about mythology and Giratina‘s identity, they got better at communicating, its presence became comforting to her and a driving force in her pursuit for knowledge. Ultimately their bound saved Sinnoh during the events of Platinum.

Headcanon D: unrealistic, but I will disregard canon about it because I reject canon reality and substitute my own.

Ahhhhh thank you so much! The fic writing especially makes the wait (and just, like... life in general) much more bearable for me personally and I'm so glad you're enjoying it. 💖

As for things I'd love to see on the show in the future... man. I really *really* want more domestic Loustat moments lol. I posted about this months back, but I think it's something that would fun to do via Lestat's direct memories/flashbacks to NOLA interwoven with the interview itself. Do I think it's something they're actually going to do on the show? Absolutely not. And in general I'm happy to sit back and enjoy whatever Rolin and co are planning on serving up for season 3. But I am always *always* going to hope to see even a few tiny flashes of their honeymoon era the first season skipped over for obvious reasons. 🥰

Also, if it wasn't apparent already based on my current wip, I'd sell all my worldly possessions on the spot if it meant getting photographer Louis for real in season 3...

And if nothing else, I just really, deeply need Sam and Jacob to share more screen time together in season 3 because their chemistry is absolute magic. They truly do share a once in a lifetime sort of connection, and I know Rolin knows this, so I'm hopeful we'll be getting that at least lol.
