Those of you who know me know that I hold curiosity as one of my values. Having done the VIA Character Survey, ‘curiosity’ comes up as one of my top five strengths. I believe that curiosity is an antidote to the negative way we judge people. Curiosity allows us to learn new things. Curiosity helps us see the world in different ways. That doesn’t mean I always get it right. Recently, however, I’ve taken a leaf out of Brendon Burchard’s book and started to ask myself daily, “Was I curious today?” (Along with, “Was I energetic?” and “Was I available?”) What do you value? What do you see as strengths? What would other people say about you in that regard and what do you want them to say? If the answers to these questions seem elusive to you, then I’d encourage you to get curious about yourself. If you do, and are patient, the answers will come. #curiosity #leadership #selfawareness #attention #resilience #questions #answers #helpinghumansbehuman #helpingleadersleadbetter #executivecoaching #executive #executivesuite #executiveofficer #australianexecutive #australianceo #ceo #ceolife #sydney #sydneylife #sydneycorporate #sydneyexecutive #sydneyceo #campbellleadershipsolutions
