It was a quiet day in the flower shop, and Stephann could appreciate that. Lots of customers could be exhausting, especially to someone like himself. Work in itself-- maintenance in itself, was exhausting, but he liked it. He liked his quiet existence, far away from home.

The trainer was spritzing some of his plants as his Ekans, Spurges, lolled around his neck, lazily enjoying its day, but the snake quickly slithered to the top of Stephann’s head as the bell rang, signifying a customer entered the building.

“Welcome in,” he chimed, his voice tight, restrained, polite. He was almost shocked to see the type of man who had just walked in, like, visibly shocked. He froze for a moment thinking about it, but he chided himself not to judge. Maybe he was getting flowers for a significant other, maybe he just had a very unlikely interest in plants. “Careful not to touch any plants marked with purple tags. Can be poisonous if you don’t wash your hands afterwards!” He offered the man a small, formal smile. “I’m Stephann. Shout if you need anything.”

It really didn’t bother her that nobody cared, she cared less anyway. Besides, she is perfecting herself for Jax! She only needed Jax to like her! “I don’t think people are so evil.
