Summary: Michael and Meghan break up, he needs someone to comfort him and the only one to do it is Shanna.
It was the boiling point for her, eyes dead shot at him, her sapphire eyes turned dark. No tear was shed but angst fulfilled her. Two words slipped from his mouth, but he knew these words he will say could go two ways.
"I'm sorry."
"Sorry doesn't cut it Mike. We're through." She picked up her purse and stood up. "Meg, wait."
"Don't fuckin' call me that." She blurted, "Leave me alone. Bye Michael." She left his apartment and his life forever.
He slumped down on the black leather loveseat and blankly stared into space. Solemn and Self-Hatred trapped him inside of his mind. He needed a new kind of paradise, something to help him get through the pain.
He took out his phone, looked through the contacts and called his best friend Blake.
To his dismay, he was too busy planning his and Nellie's wedding. He was about to call Nellie, but he knew she was helping him.
He called the last person in his list, Shanna Henderson.
A few minutes later, he heard a knock on his apartment door.
"Hey, Mike. What's wrong?" She noticed his bitter face and stepped inside of his vintage-looking home.
"Meghan, she broke up with me." From far away, Shanna and Meghan were very similar, long blonde hair, sparkling blue eyes, and fair skin. She reminded him so much of her and life was a bit harder.
"Oh, I'm so sorry."
After a few days, they became better friends, for the first days, she helped him become more out-doorsy and stuff and later on, she helped him get over her.
They sat in his living room, on the blue fabric of his sectional.
"She was everything to me, and like she just left me here, and she was like my paradise."
"You'll find a new one Michael, I promise."
"I think I already found one." Shanna's face flushed. He looked straight at her and kissed her cheek. Blushing as red as a tomato, the two cuddled and just plain out did fluffy things.
