Is Heir as dull-witted as he appears to be?

nah it’s a pretty transparent act he’s a pretty sharp dude. he’s got a sense of polite genteel anti-intellectualism though? like, he was raised to think he was born better than other people, but he’s pretty uncomfortable with holding himself to that kind of standard so he reflexively downplays his own intelligence. it’s kind of like he has… neither a superiority nor inferiority complex. a liminal complex? deliberately trying to appear average because of conflicting feelings of superiority and inferiority, neither of which he’d rather deal with?
