StrangeSpot, Round Twenty Four: Curious

Henry and Kawaii are expecting puppies! (IRL please neuter your pets, in the Sims I want to see puppy combos lol).

OTP Lazlo and Penny take a moment to sit back and appreciate the family they created together. “Our pack,” as Lazlo describes it. A safe place where aliens and werewolves and dogs can love freely and be their unique selves. They believe Skye and Pascal would have been proud (and they’re right).

Sadly it’s Lazlo’s time to go. The pack will be in good hands with Penny.

StrangeSpot, Round Twenty: Curious

2 Cover Up Road gets a major renovation! The Curious family now live in @katatty’s makeover, here, with an additional bedroom and some other tweaks to fit everyone. The home really shines (or rather, glows) at night!

Cliff is supposed to be Tycho’s boyfriend but when the latter goes to work, the former jumps into bed for woohoo with Edge. Tycho is a romance main so his definition of boyfriend is a bit loose - but sharing Cliff with his cousin isn’t ideal. Can Tycho compete with the triple bolt chemistry of two grilled cheese mains?

Henry is an old dog but he’s still up for a game of fetch! Leela also celebrates a birthday and becomes a teen (pictured in her childhood bedroom pre reno).

StrangeSpot, Round Eighteen: Curious

Woody is grateful to have the support of his family right now. He’s been skipping work to play video games and sleep.

Edge cheers him up by revealing his ability to conjure grilled cheese sandwiches out of thin air - must be some sort of alien ability he’s unlocked! When Leela gets jealous of her brother’s power, Woody steps in and offers to sit outside with her while she looks through the telescope in the rain. Henry also steps up to be a support animal.

Maybe everything will be okay after all.

StrangeSpot, Round Sixteen: Curious

Leela has her birthday and one of her first wants as a child is learning to study. She asks her dad first but Lazlo loops in Pascal to teach her instead. He’s delighted to foster a thirst for knowledge in another Curious kid! Leela complains a bit when she encounters some challenges but gets there in the end.

Avery successfully auditions to be the new bass player in the Printer Sisters and moves in with them when she starts university. She’s been a lowkey fan for a while and is in awe of her bandmates, even when they’re just standing there.

Penny and Lazlo are so pleased their daughters are thriving <3 (Their son Edge is off camera somewhere, serving grilled cheese sandwiches and also thriving)

StrangeSpot, Round Twelve: Curious

Nova and Henry become very attached to and protective of Lazlo, similar to how Nova behaved during Pascal and Penny’s pregnancies. He takes a test and learns he’s pregnant from his alien encounter. The dogs get many pats and treats for being good packmates <3

Edge brings Lettice home from school. She’s the first alien he’s met who isn’t directly related to him - although she is Tycho’s half-sibling, and she’ll be the half-sibling of his new sibling on the way (if Pascal’s theory that there is only one active Pollination Technician left is correct)... oh Strangetown.

While he’s happy for Lazlo, Tycho wishes he could have tagged along so he could meet his biological alien parent. It’s not like he doesn’t see Pascal and Skye as his dads... it just would have been nice to satisfy that curiosity. He’ll keep trying to catch the UFO’s attention anyway.

Edge is now a teen. He’s a grilled cheese main like his big sister Avery. Penny has embraced elderhood with that sunny smile of hers!

StrangeSpot, Round Fourteen: Curious

Nova is an elderly dog now. She celebrates by singing a tune with Lazlo: 🎵 Awooooooooo 🎵

Leela is a toddler and looks very similar to her half-brother/cousin Tycho. The latter is reminded of his brief meeting with the Pollination Technician. “I am one of the last active pollinators”, he had been grimly informed. Turns out Mr. PT Smith’s retirement had inspired other aliens to settle and create family units on Earth. Their way of life was changing but the sole Pollination Technician was clinging on, waiting in the wings for Strangetown citizens to look to the stars and satiate their curiosity. Tycho hopes he can be more future-forward than that.

Lazlo joins his packmate Nova in elderhood.  🎵 Awooooooooo 🎵

StrangeSpot, Round Eight: Curious

After the Land round being full of shock twists, the Curious/Weiss household were a welcome breeze! Tycho is now a teen, and a budding musician.

Lazlo adopts a dog named Henry to create a pack along with Nova. Edge loves cuddling his new friend <3 He also celebrates a birthday and takes an adorable selfie with the Curious tower. Surely he’ll grow into that Weiss brow!

Penny and Pascal are progressing well in their adventuring careers and make a great team. Lazlo’s coasting as a gamer. It pays the bills!
