Henry Fischer – Al Carrer Skateshop
@theoreticalstrawberries commented: Im sorry, but it says "a woman named Henry Fischer" and also uses 'Mr.' And 'he' pronouns? Is this a typo? Totally chill if not! Just havent met a lot of people who identify as women but also use apparently exclusively he/him and 'mr.'
Henry Fischer keeps it mixed up, so characters will refer to her at random as she/her, he/his, they/them from day to day or even sentence to sentence. you’ll also see the flickering Mr./Mrs. and Henry/Henrietta (though usually she just goes by Henry.)
the thistle and spade characters have what we lovingly lampshade as “gender identity telepathy.” upon meeting another person, their preferred gender is already communicated clearly, regardless of any other indications.
nice catch! thanks for the coment ^_^ - xoxo j
