Here's one of our latest publications - Le Sub by Martin Wilson

It's an A6 colour laser beak book zine, printed on recycled newsprint and comes complete with a colour postcard.

Very pleased to say that the Tuff Dudes launch went really well last night and we managed to raise a nice bit of money for Oxfam too.

And here's our second publication that forms part of a double release by Martin Wilson. Again, BOX takes the form of a beak book, and is simply a very beautiful and simple object. 

Here's the low down - 

The at times horrific and distorted faces captured from the screen are part of a wider question of where a portrait can be harvested from legitimately. 

Limited edition of 100 copies. Hand numbered, A3 heavy weight paper, risographed and cello bagged fold out custom beak book.

Henry Press are pleased to announce a new collaborative publication which we were asked to work on with The Animated Review. 

It's a fold out beak book, limited edition, photography by Martin Wilson on heavy weight off white Colorplan stock. We'll let Animated Review fill in the rest of the details:

Specially commissioned for this Animated Review & Henry Press collaborative mini 'zine, Martin Wilson has continued his photographic series, 'The Television Set,' with this collection of cartoon characters captured in a state of motion blur.  Unlike live-action, motion blur has to be created artificially for animation. Smears, blur lines, multiples and other creative gimmicks are all utilised to create the illusion of rapid movement. Often rendering the characters momentarily unrecognisable, for the split second these frames are on the screen, these distortions are abstract works of art in their own right.  Martin has photographed iconic Looney Tunes characters in their mutated state of flux, creating disfigured snapshots of what should be familiar faces.  - Limited edition hand-made beak booklet.  - Hand numbered edition of 30.  - 8 print pages plus fold out poster image.  - Published in collaboration with Henry Press.  www.henrypress.co.uk  www.martinwilsonphotography.co.uk www.animatedreview.com
