Every time Josh D*ggar is in the news lately, I just wonder, if his parents had not raised him with such fucked up views about sex and marriage, would he have turned out fine?

Someone should have taught him long ago that wanting to have sex is totally normal, but you have to control yourself. They should have taught him all the life lessons a person needs to know about dealing with their sex drive. Be safe. Be responsible. Be respectful. Don’t repress all your sexual urges and convince yourself it’s a sin. That won’t work. We know that won’t work. So many, many people have tried that and failed. Learn how to deal with your sex drive like a healthy, responsible person.

Back when he was a horny 14 year old, he should have just masturbated in the shower like every other 14 year old horny kid instead of being taught it was a sin. 

What would he have been like if he hadn’t spent his whole life being indoctrinated with seriously fucked up ideas about the evils of sex? What if he had been given a proper sex education? What if he hadn’t been taught to believe you should marry someone you've never spent any time alone with?

The fucked up stuff he preaches into the world now is also all just because his parents taught him this crap. 

When the parents go around bragging about teaching their kids seriously fucked up values about sex and their oldest kid turns out to have had a seriously fucked up time dealing with his sexual impulses, it’s hard not to see a connection.
