i binged s5 of rupaul's drag race and jinkx monsoon (hera hoffer) - i love you so much. i love her for many reasons (her creativity, kindness, resilience, etc.) but i love whenever she talks about her grandma. her parents were neglectful and not accepting of her sexuality, and she found refuge spending time with her jewish grandma who accepted her and encouraged her to persure her stage dreams. she decided to embrace her jewishness after her grandma passed away and still whispers "i love you, nana," before every performance.
