Chamomile, mint, bay, thyme

Chamomile: Describe your dream bedroom?One of those instagram bedrooms that’s all white (this is a dream right? And in my dream, I’m NOT a messy bitch who eats in bed and is prone to spills. Or gets her period, apparently.) and fulllllllllll of sunlight. Looks out to the beach. Translucent white curtains. Accent pillows and rugs in traditional desi/middle eastern fabrics; and other knickknacks from those regions here and there. Always smells good; either of citrus (grapefruit) or of incense. Has a wall to wall bookshelf and a reading nook. Another wall is all mirror (coz I’m a vain bitch despite being like a 6/10, at best. Also I like dancing in front of a mirror.) A lookout shelf in the window for my kitty. Always has my favorite music playing. Soundproof walls. Biometric security installed on the door. Ain’t no one getting in here.

Mint: Name something you would be better off without in your life?Capitalism.

Bay: What’s one wish you have?To travel the world. All of it. And just keep doing that.

Thyme: Are you a very brave person?Hahaha no, not by nature. By circumstance, perhaps. But generally, no, very non confrontational and averse to any kind of conflict, really.

For your Herbs ask - Rosemary, Ginger, Anise and Mint

Rosemary: What’s something that make you feel safe?Being in my bed, and knowing where everyone I love is at that moment (basically, that they’re safe and okay. Not in a psycho, stalker way.)

Ginger: What makes you sick to your stomach?Abuse, in all its forms. Anyone who does it should just be struck down by lightning.   

Anise: Do you like children?I don’t NOT LIKE them; but I prefer solitude and silence and my things to not be touched/moved, and that’s unreasonable to expect of them, so… Like, I’ll make funny faces at babies I see in public to make them laugh, and I’ll play with acquaintances’ kids when they visit, but I need to get away and recharge after like 15 minutes with them. 

So yeah, they’re cute and all, but not something I want in my life. (Much like a pet grizzly bear cub.)

chamomile — what’s something that always comforts you?

Well, there are a few things. The most obvious thing I’m going to say is drawing. I’ve been drawing for as long as I could hold a pencil, so I’ve been capable of expressing myself through art for most of my life.

However, that is not exactly the only thing. There is a specific song that I can listen to anytime, anywhere and it always helps me calm down. I love this song, and it’s very pleasant.

Finally, and this is something I haven’t ever said on the internet before...(actually I think maybe 3 people know about this IRL in my adult life) I have a small stuffed bear that’s pink. When I was young, I had two similar bears (I have like 12 backups and this current one is from that group thanks to my mom) but one was lost ages ago and the other one recently was literally worn to shreds. I still keep it close by due to the comfort they used to give me as a child. It functions as a sort of stim toy. I have it with me as long as I’m at the house.

who/what is the biggest inspiration in your life?: i get really motivated and inspired whenever i see positivity, love, and empathy in the world. some people from work, some friends, and some really wonderful people i’ve met in life all inspire me in different ways - to change, to grow, to adapt, and to reflect. and overall just a driving force to be optimistic and make the world a better place!
