IS THERE A #recycleforlyme PROGRAM?! 🌎🔁💚 I saw one on IG a few months back but the page is no longer active. I’d prefer to send my empty bottles to a #lyme cause but I’m only on my 2nd month of treatment with no more closet space🤣🤷🏻♀️. . . . 📸: Day 120 of #glutendairysugarfree diet, Day 66 of #Naturopathic #HerbalProtocol , Day 39 of #antibiotics . . . . Not Pictured 🚫📸🚫: $2,045 out of pocket not including copays, premiums paid on diet food - organic and GF food, etc. . . . What’s crazy to me is that I HAVE insurance and that my 14 month prognosis post #tickbite is in fact relatively short for #lymedisease . The costs I’ve incurred to date are MINUSCULE relative to what most Lyme patients dish out in their lifetime. Minuscule just like the proportion of empty bottles in my picture from 30 days relative to an empty bottle collection of someone who has been on treatment for more than 6 months or more than 2 years etc. The real game for me starts now: post 30-day abx ordered by my doctor. The CDC vs. my LLMD vs. my ND vs. insurance coverage. Wonder what bills will start piling in and which opinion will rule. Luckily I’m not just a Lymie but I’m also an accountant with great cost documentation skills who will fight to the death on all of her receipts even if she loses.🤓😜 . . . Why is #chroniclyme still being denied while thousands continue to suffer? We know there’s no cure but we need better guidance, treatment and tests NOW. Regardless of contradicting research and lack of a cure, health agencies and government agencies need to be held accountable to DO THEIR BEST to provide ✨COMPREHENSIVE AND ACCURATE✨ tests & treatment guidance that reflects ALL AVAILABLE EVIDENCE (not just selective opinions). The lack of comprehensive guidance leaves insurance companies with NO BASIS to assess coverage off of for #chroniclymedisease and very little basis for Lyme. So why cover it? Right, just don’t cover any of it and avoid politics altogether. What’s even better is that this mess of a controversy leaves some of the doctors who do understand Lyme, less inclined to treat or publicize their expertise, due to the risk taken on by their careers and license. 🤦🏻♀️ #lymewithsalt (at San Diego, California) https://www.instagram.com/p/Bpi8WgSnppp/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1e5yvp054taf
