I am grateful to live in such a beautiful part of the world...last night on our walk I kept smelling the most amazing hay like , patchouli laced scent. It was glorious. I kept thinking that I was back in the 60’s wearing my favorite solid hippy chick perfume...does any one remember the Coty Sweet Earth solid perfume compacts? Well I couldn’t figure out what I was smelling until I got around to the front of the lake. It was an enormous patch of Yellow Sweet Clover, a beautiful biennial that is used for forage, cover cropping, conservation, and honey making and of course bouquets... I walked over to admire it and found that it was covered with honeybees, always a good sign. I thanked them for taking me on such a delightful trip down memory lane and went home to enjoy a most delightful and psychedelic sleep. I can’t wait to go back and collect some seeds for my own flowery mead...#flowerymead #flowerymeadow #clover #yellowclover #theschooloftheseasons #livinginseason #seasonalcelebrations #seasonalpriestess #cotysweetearth #bethschreibmangehring #herbanfarmgirl #herbanglow #herbs #covercrops #shakerlakes (at The Herban Inn) https://www.instagram.com/p/CPsrDbmpnc9/?utm_medium=tumblr
