What a joy their farmstand is... with @farmerleejones standing right there talking to and welcoming his customers and fans. I could have stayed for quite some time just drinking in the joy of this place. Farmer Lee is as sweet , open , welcoming and kind as I hoped he’d be. We bought sweet June berries, little potatoes, fresh peas and beans and of course a copy of his wonderful new cookbook that I’ve been jonesing for since it came out. Farmer Lee and his co-writer will probably win incredible awards for this beautiful book... it’s a @beardfoundation award winner if I’ve ever seen one! Yet the earnestness of the man and his farm is palpable. He wants you to love it as he does and he’s really really glad you’re there.
