Did you ever wonder how your elderberries got to be syrup? Pretty much one at a time! I picked these, plucked them from their stems and made juice out of them today using my @mehuliisa . On our latest episode of “ Preserving with Poldark”... Elderberry, Sour Cherry and Rose Petal jam. These roses were harvested this spring from our #westernreserveherbsociety gardens down at @clegarden and so were the elderberries. Simmered together with wild grape juice, cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice the flavor is magical.
