Well, this is depressing...
An old Yancy / Herc (a.k.a. Herculy) post, that had already been flagged (for violating community guidelines) in the past - and then was appealed and "unflagged" in the very beginning of "the porn purge" - got flagged again.
I tried appealing, but this time they decided that it did violate community guidelines, and blocked it from being seen.
It's not pornographic, all genitals and "female presenting nipples" are fully covered. There is some footage from a love scene with Diego Klattenhoff (from "Homeland"), but his butt is covered, and the woman is hidden as much as possible to create the illusion of Herc and Yancy being in bed together (nothing of her is shown).
I did the same with Max Martini and a love scene from one of his movies (can't remember the title).
It's not explicit and it doesn't show anything other than suggesting two men making love to each other.
So now I'm sad, because it seems they are strengthening the "no sex scenes" guidelines in a way that is even more strict than under Yahoo's ownership, reflagging posts that I thought were saved and now "safe" from being blocked as per those infamous community guidelines.
And now, I'm wondering if that means that those I'd kept with Jazmine as a mermaid, but covered her nipples with scales, will once again be flagged and removed from view, because it did show her straddling someone in a bathtub without clothes on (and thus suggested the activity might become sexual in nature), etc.
I thought the purge was over, and if a post had already been appealed and reviewed in the past - and especially had passed the test - then they'd leave it be... But apparently, they are starting the whole process over, and even making it stricter.
I mean, they obviously have a right to, but I find it very disappointing and disheartening. It's just a loving and tender moment between two guys without anything shown. Since when is that considered pornographic or inappropriate for kids and teens?
Especially since it had already been flagged, and we'd "already had this discussion", damnit!
I'll try to see if I can make it even tamer...
