Here is my refined final sketch for my editorial. I really just redrew it and colored it to give it a little direction but the concept is exactly the same. I considered creating it in a political cartoon style but after talking about it in class, I’m going to use real images and composite it bc i like a little challenge.

okay usually I don’t particularly care for Writing Advice because it usually boils down to Writing Orthodoxy and a) I am a contrarian so if you tell me ‘do’ I will not ‘do’ it and b) I’m a firm believer in breaking the rules for getting the best possible narrative you can out of a story 

BUT

If people can’t tell what your story was about till the very last chapter, in which you reveal some last plot twist that wasn’t even vaguely hinted at before

Then you, my friend, are a Bad Writer

And if you attribute people being confused about what your story was about & then reacting badly to it, to not having realized the limitations of the medium in which you were working and blaming it on that then you are a doubly worse writer. 

That’s it. There are literally two rules of writing: tell a good fucking story and fucking work with your medium of storytelling so that you know what you can manage or not. 

Or y’know, get a Beta Reader, if you can’t take that critical step backwards.

Ok, I am done updating my page. I have officially separated my edits from drawings, added my Pride and Prejudice AU to my stories page, actually written something in my 'Get to Know Me/About Me' page and fandoms page, and added a new page for my OCs. I just haven't put anything one there because my OCs still don't have faces. Some do, but I need to redraw them so they are presentable. I also have an new OC coming up. Which I am very excited to draw. I hope she comes out half as good as I picture her.
