Merry whatever, you guys! I'll be celebrating by walking into the woods, never to return. But to each their own I suppose. . This is probably my favorite piece that I made for scenic route, which was my first real show at @paradigmgs. it happened.
the thing that i was simultaneously dreading and hoping for. i got laid off.
it’s a relief to leave behind the oppressive suburban office, the grisly commute. it’s terrifying to have no idea when i’ll next see a paycheck.
i spent a month detoxing from the office culture and then i spent a month going nuts on my house – cleaning, organizing and remodeling. and now i’m going to spend four months on an epic international job search to find my next career move.
mid-life crisis? following my heart? following my folly? who knows. maybe i’ll find that out when i get there. wherever there is.
