I love seeing your version of natsu ! I especially love his design when he’s wearing Alvarez clothes!(sorry if my English isn’t good ; love your art !)

Sketches about the Bloodlines fanfic from @onlyottermadness because I'm OBSESSED
Igneel and his death
So I've been rewatching Fairy Tail and just got to the moment when Natsu has to watch Igneel die and that got me thinking about something.
Natsu has been talking about wanting to reunite with Igneel from the moment he joins fairy tail. There isn't a single member of the guild who doesn't know that Natsu was raised by a dragon. We as viewers know this to be the truth, We've seen the flashbacks.
However, watching this as an adult, I'm wondering what the adults at the time would have thought when they heard this young boys story. They see this poor little orphan boy show up at their doors and take him in, and he says that he was raised by a dragon named Igneel and he mysteriously disappeared one day. In this world, Dragons had been extinct for centuries. So you assume this is the coping mechanisms of a young child who lost everything. You dont question it.
But imagine that child gets older and the story stays the same. You see his magic grow and get stronger as he does, but you would have assumed he'd have grown out of the dragon thing by now, but he insists that he was raised by this dragon. Everyone accepts this as his story and its not going to change, he was raised by a dragon, but you know deep down he couldn't have been.
Then there he is.
However many years later, after the worst battle the fairy tail guild has fought, This dragon who you were so sure were the delusions of a child he simply never grew out of appears right before your very eyes. Along with the rest of the dragons who disappeared fourteen years ago, and this boy who you watched grow up finally gets to see his father again. He real
and then the dragon fucking dies.
I'm assuming there were a number of people in the guild who were never quite sold on the dragon theory, and then that dragon dies right in front of you. I fear that would fundamentally change me as a person.

FAIRY TAIL 20th Anniversary - Special PV-
igneel was that guy
never fucking forget that igneel was the one character to genuinely hand acnologia his ass
he straight up had him schlumped for a solid minute and only started losing once he started getting gassed because he was basically half dead the entire time
crazy how we all kinda ignore this. we even got ignia hyping igneel up long after he's dead in 100YQ
even mashima knows igneel is him
