Little-known fact:
Stanford’s Kelley O’Hara & Teresa Noyola are two of only three players in the history of women’s collegiate soccer to unite the Hermann Trophy and the NSCAA Scholar Athlete of the Year awards (2009 & 2011, respectively), joining Portland's Christine Sinclair in 2005. (Sinc won the Hermann in 2004 too, but wasn’t top #jocknerd that year).
All three of Stanford’s MAC Hermann recipients (O’Hara, Press & Noyola) were Academic All-Americans, the #jocknerd bracket of the All-America selection.
