in the past month there had been a series of murders involving private detectives. the police believed that the cases are the work of a single serial killer who acts without a signature. however, michiru didn’t think that it was the work of one person but of different people who probably had created a certain organization to take down private detectives. the reason behind her suspicion was exactly that luck of signature in the killings. even though effort was put to make it seem like it was the same person michiru noticed that there was always something different in the way that the bodies were wrapped in a plastic bag and tied. the knots were different each time. after the murder of saito-san, a skillful detective who worked under her, she had sworn to find the perpetrators and bring them to justice no matter what.
the scientist had asked her network of private detectives to lay low and collect information that they would immediately send to her. she even equipped them with her unusual technological devices so they would be able to protect themselves at all times. that day, she was expecting another detective to visit, the two had met each other before during a murder case they worked on together to catch the criminal. she didn’t know if there were any interesting findings from her part however, soon her own friends would send more information to her.
