Stanhopia tigrina, as it was labled when I grew it. This specimen was growing in a 16" coconut fibre lined wire basket, beneath a Casuarina tree, the needles from which composting into the mix. As buds appeared below the 'pot' it had a light weekly feeding of Potassium Nitrate ,, the plant pictured produced 16 x 9" dia flowers which lasted 4 days before wilting. The perfume attracted attention from 20 metres away.
